"Love as I have loved you." What does that really mean? Sometimes it's hard to understand what Jesus meant when He said it 'cause in the world that we live in people love us based on circumstance or preference.

Like if I like what you like you'll like me. Or if I do what you do you'll accept me. Yet the one that should've rejected me, 'cause I wasn't at all like Him, didn't. Matter fact, in spite of my imperfections, failures, and flaws Christ saw something in me that was worth reconciling back to Him. So it's no longer I who live but He who lives through me and gives me the courage to fearlessly love you. Dispute what you do to me. Or how you treat me. At my job, at my school, at my church, even in my own family.

So let's not view each other in light of our earthly stature but more as Ch…

Rawsrvnt "The Almighty" feat. St. Matthew Music Video

Eddy "Rawsrvnt" Puyol

Oh jesus you know, jesus you know how I feel
Everything about your love is so real
Oh you will love my friend, love me forever, your love has no end
So strech out my end, and worship you father and thankyou my friend
Oh, you already know, I love you forever like forever more, king of kings
Your love ...
So who shall I fear, your love always with me and conquer my fears
I shed no tears, I just worship you father for years and years
... bring me all or we dies
I got yeah, I got
So let me say

The almighty, ai ai, I worship till the day I die
... eternal life, ...worship he ...
The almighty, ai ai, he save me and gave me life
I worship your love, I worship your love, I worship your love

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Breast cancer has reached near epidemic status among American women as it is currently estimated that one out of eight women in the United States will develop breast cancer in her lifetime. Currently, breast cancer causes over 40,000 deaths in the United States each year.

The rate of breast cancer is typically 5 times higher for women in the United States compared to women in many other parts of the world. It is interesting to note that in Japan the rate of breast cancer is about 1/5th the rate in the United States, but in second or third generation Japanese women living in America eating the typical American diet the rate of breast cancer is identical to other women living in the United States.

While conventional medicine focuses on early detection as primary prevention of breast cancer, a more rational approach is to reduce as many risk factors as possible while simultaneously utilizing those dietary and lifestyle factors associated with breast cancer prevention. Here are just a few …

"On Black Radio, pianist Robert Glasper heads down the fraught path of hip-hop jazz and gets it right… With music this smart and inviting, the implied diss of mainstream doesn't feel like sour grapes; it feels like a blueprint forward." - Rolling Stone

Offer to Help...

For Healthy Marriages
“Not tonight Hun, I have a headache.” The dreaded words that every “excited” husband doesn’t want to hear!
I know the moment the “H” word slipped from her lips your mind was filled only with the shattered dream of your evening. Take a moment to regroup and refocus. Yes your sexual hopes might be dashed for the evening, but your wife just told you she is in pain. Take a deep breath and remove your interests from the front of your “mind”.

There are lots of ways that you might be able to help your wife’s headache.
Offer to:
Give her a massage Rub her feet Draw her a bath Give her quiet time Take care of bedtime with the kids  All of those are appropriate responses when your beloved is in pain. Offer to help her but then don’t help in a way that only seeks to recover your shattered evening. 9 times out of 10 your wife will say no to the massage, even if it would help her headache, because she thinks you will use it to continue your sexual advances. Tell her the offer…

Roy Ayers - Jazz Legends: Live Brewhouse Theatre 1992

It was new generation of players and samplers would end up at vibraphone maestro Roy Ayers corner of the rainbow. From the time he formed his group Ubiquity in 1970, Roy Ayers has mesmerized millions of people with his unique style of music known as Smooth Jazz. His songs have been sampled by dozens of groups including A Tribe Called Quest, Brand Nubian, X-Clan, Big Daddy Kane, Erykah Badu, Mary J. Blige, the Notorious BIG, Foxy Brown and Sean "Puffy" Combs. His signature blend of smooth vibes, mother wit lyrics, classic bottom, and dashes of saxophones, keyboards and wordly percussion, is a reflection of his eclectic brilliance.

What I learned today:

1) Change Your Life Today: Invest in your IDEA.
2) Stop watching others blow up. Stop sitting around waiting, complaining. Tap into your own IDEA and creativity.
3) Forget money, think service.
4) Everything you ever wanted in life is in your IDEA.
5) Do what YOU were born to do. Don't be a copycat. Find out who you are, what your purpose is?

What I learned today:

1) It's not about you - The world no longer revolves around you. Get out of that 'single' mindset. You have an opportunity to create a legacy.

2) You're sabotaging your success when all you look out for is you.

3) Find a goal you can work on together.

4) 80/20 - Stop focusing on the 20% you don't like.

5) Don't be a slave, but find ways to serve your partner.

6) If you did it with your spouse you'd be happy as well - Cut that extra-marital nonsense.

Thanks ET =)

Fred Hammond "When I Come Home To You" (God,Love, & Romance)

Thank you to my Queen Gloria...Love ya!!

I can say one thing about this album, AWESOME!!! many christians would disagree, but if we brought romance in the church, then you could get those brothers off of those websites looking for flavor in the bedroom, and back in to arms of their wives. The christian divorce rate is as high as the world. Fred, thank you for being fed up with the status quo and reaching into the heart of our church and allowing God to speak through you, the Song Of Solomon. God, Love and Romance!! God loves romance

Is it about you ...all the time?

The reason why are families fail, why our relationships fail, our neighborhoods, our communities, our schools, our churches and our institutions #FAIL, it's not about you, it's about what you do for others...

Genesis 2:18 Man was alone and it was not good...we needed you, but the world would have you believe the contrary

10 You Don't Know What Love Is

My Daughter's Senior Prom Weekend... 5/25/2012

A father daughter relationship is one of the most important relationships that a girl can have growing up, and that a man can experience throughout his lifetime. Having a father is the first relationship that a girl has with a male, and therefore is a very life shaping relationship. Without a father daughter relationship a girl is forced to form her own opinion of how a relationship with their male counterparts should be, and this sometimes leads to tragedy. Even sometimes when a father is in his daughter’s life it may affect his daughter’s life negatively. Even so, a woman is able to look back and learn a lot from the father daughter relationship that they had growing up, and many are able to use it to form other relationships with men that will last for the rest of their lifetime. As John Mayer says “Father’s be good to your daughter’s, daughter’s will love like you do.” Love Much Your Father/Daddy,~Marcus"I cannot think of any need in childhood as strong as the need for a fathe…

Fall in- Esperanza Spalding (with lyrics)

Don't worry if we fall in love
We will never touch the ground
Don't worry if we fall in love
We will never touch the ground
Just fall into a dream

They say
If you die in a dream
You die in real life
I just died in your arms
Lost in your eyes
And I know
This must be a dream
Cos I feel
Like I can fly to heaven

They say
If you live in a dream
You're hopelessly lost
Well This ain't just any old dream
For our paths have crossed
And I may be hopelessly lost
But somehow
I've managed to find heaven

And don't worry
If we fall in love
We will never touch the ground
Don't worry if we fall in love
We will never touch the ground
Just fall into a dream
Don't worry if we fall in love

Message For Men

Be Encouraged....
Remember the supernatural way in which you were created— from dirt and made in the image of God.For married men: Love your wives. Protect your families. YOU ARE the head. YOU ARE the leader. YOU ARE to be submitted to. Build with them. Grow with them. Teach them the principles that will give them everlasting life. For single men: Hold fast to the promise that your inheritance is on the way. “She” is on Her way. She’s still being shaped and molded and tried true, for YOU. Singleness is not an unfortunate state, it is an opportunity to be selfish and internally clean house.Understand your strength and worth as protectors and providers. You are Kings that come from a very long line of royalty. Use your gifts to prosper. Your gift is your meal ticket.Trust God. He has already made you the victorPosted via email from Whyte23's posterous

Not Just Words....

Lizz Wright - Open Your Eyes, You Can Fly

When you are inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project, all your thoughts break their bounds. Dormant forces, faculties and talents become alive, and you discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be.

Triangle of LOVE

See the Dots is your marriage all connected?Or is there an opening where the LACK of LOVE is able to EXIST?When two people love each other truly a connection is formed between them that not only survives death, but continues to grow deeper and happier forever. The Lord provides completely healthy/happy marriages to everyone in heaven who desires it.

Every Good Man..Father..Son... & Brother...

To be your father is the greatest honor I have ever received. It allowed me to touch mystery for a moment, and to see my LOVE made flesh. If I could have but one prayer, it would be for you to pass that LOVE along. After all, there is not much more to LIFE than that.It is my attempt to give you the lessons of my life, so that you can use them in yours. They are not meant to make you into me. It is my greatest joy to watch you become yourself. But time reveals truths, and these truths are greater than either of us. If I can give them voice in a way that allows me to walk beside you during your days, then I will have done Well. The most important thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother. ~Theodore Hesburgh My Fist is bigger because it will:F..ight for youA...ffirm youT...rain youH...old youE..ncourage and R..aise you!Marcus Whyte23, is a husband and father of 2, freelance writer, Certified Life and Relationship Coach from Akron, Ohio. Finding Consistency

Photo provided by our family member The Shakur's (Deven and Kimberly Shakur) Talk to your husband or wife about making a “need to improve” list for your marriage. We all have busy lives and our marriages can be put on the back burner if we are not careful. Talk about the things you both would like to see become more consistent in your marriage. Be grace filled in your sharing, understanding that your spouse may know these things need to change, but does not want to feel like they are being chastised. The last you thing you want the list to become is simply you pointing out where you think your spouse has failed. To keep this from happening, talk about how you would like to serve your spouse better to help them develop in the areas they need to grow. Then share the things you would like to be more consistent. Pray with your spouse over the list and talk about practical ways to make these changes.Finding consistency through God’s plan for your life and marriage will bring you a close…

LeBron James Is Engaged

LeBron James had more on his mind than just ringing in the new year on Saturday night. At a New Year's Evedinner and party at the Shelborne hotel in South Beach, theMiami Heat star, 27, proposed to his longtime girlfriend Savannah Brinson. And he got their kids in on the action as well. Right after popping the question, James picked up the couple's sons LeBron Jr., 7, and Bryce, 4, and swung them around on the floor. "It was so sweet to watch," a rep for Remy Martin V, who hosted the dinner, tells PEOPLE. "Everyone is extremely happy." The party, hosted by Heat teammate Dwyane Wade and his girlfriend Gabrielle Union, was also a belated birthday celebration for James, who turned 27 the day before. Heat star Chris Bosh and Queen Latifah were also on the guest list of 60 friends and family members. "When it happens, it happens," Brinson, 25, told Harper's Bazaar of marriage in 2010. "I…
