Lyrics:

There's a voice that cries out in the silence,
searching for heart that will love him,
longing for child that will give him their all,
give it all, he wants it all

There's a God that walks over the earth,
he searching for heart that is desperate,
longing for child that will give him their all,
give it all, he wants it all

and he says, love me, love me with your whole heart
he wants it all today
serve me, serve me with you life now
he wants it all today
bow down, let go of your idols
he wants it all today (x4)

There's a God that walks over the earth,
he searching for heart that is desperate,
longing for child that will give him their all,
give it all, he wants it all

and he says, love me, love me with your whole heart
he wants it all today
serve me, serve me with you life now
he wants it all today
bow down, let go of your idols

The Legacy of the Fab Five

Image
By Jalen RoseJalen Rose, a retired NBA star, was a member of Michigan’s famed “Fab Five,” a quintet of freshman basketball players (including Chris Webber, Juwan Howard, Jimmy King and Ray Jackson) that led the school to appearances in the NCAA tournament final in 1992 and 1993. Rose served as an executive producer on the recent ESPN documentary “The Fab Five.” In the documentary, Rose said he believed at the time that Duke only recruited black players that he considered “Uncle Toms.” Grant Hill, who starred on the Duke team that beat Michigan in the 1992 final, responded to Rose last week in the New York Times. “I caution my fabulous five friends to avoid stereotyping me and others they do not know in much the same way so many people stereotyped them back then for their appearance and swagger,” he wrote. Windmills of Your Mind By: Take 6

Image
Windmills of Your mind

Round, like a circle in a spiral
Like a wheel within a wheel.
Never ending or beginning,
On an ever spinning wheel
Like a snowball down a mountain
Or a carnaval balloon
Like a carousell that’s turning
Running rings around the moon

Like a clock whose hands are sweeping
Past the minutes on it’s face
And the world is like an apple
Whirling silently in space
Like the circles that you find
In the windmills of your mind

Like a tunnel that you follow
To a tunnel of it’s own
Down a hollow to a cavern
Where the sun has never shone
Like a door that keeps revolving
In a half forgotten dream
Or the ripples from a pebble
Someone tosses in a stream.

Like a clock whose hands are sweeping
Past the minutes on it’s face
And the world is like an apple
Whirling silently in space
Like the circles that you find
In the windmills of your mind

Keys that jingle in your pocket
Words that jangle your head
Why did summer go so quickly
Was it something that I said
Lovers walking allong the shore,
Leave their footprints in th…

Altrism... a selfless concern for others.

Image
When we see a Christian Brother or Sister suffering today, we can respond in one of Three ways.1).We can say, as Job’s friends did, that the afflicted person brought this on himself.2).We can say that this is a test to help the poor develop more patience and trust in God.3).We can help the person in need.David would approve of only the last option. Although many governments today have their own programs for helping those in need, this is no excuse for ignoring the poor and needy within OUR REACH. Psalm 37:37 (New Living Translation) 37 Look at those who are honest and good, for a wonderful future awaits those who love peace.Until we speak again, stay strong and be blessed.Mr. Encourager

It’s Only Temporary…

Image
Our Troubles (“Light Affliction”) should not diminish our faith or disillusion us. We should realize that there is a purpose in our suffering. Problems and Human Limitations have several benefits:(1). They remind us of Christ’s suffering for us…(2). They keep us from pride…(3). They cause us to look beyond this brief LIFE…(4).They prove our FAITH to others…(5). They give God the opportunity to demonstrate his POWER.See your trouble as opportunities! At times life looks “Temporary out of Order”. Don’t be dismay by what (what’s obviously in front of you) you SEE: Be encouraged by what you don’t SEE. Your latter shall be GREATER….this is Temporary!2 Corinthians 4:18 (New King James Version)18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.“It’s not always Easy, but we know it’s Necessary”Until you visit again, be encouraged and blessed!Mr. EncouragerMa…
