Hey Family, "Thank you"... so much for the love and kind words that you showered upon me for my birthday. With all that is going on in the world today, I thought my birthday would not matter to anyone but my mom and my family. But my SM family proved me wrong, I am grateful for your love. My extended birthday was wonderful and my wonderful husband is constantly surprising me. My children and husband totally got me. They surprised me with a wonderful dinner, cooked by my baby daughter. I can truly state that your kids are watching even when we think they are not. My baby’s food tasted like I had been in the kitchen all day. She made me proud. Well this is the last year I will see a "5" in front of my age but my beautiful husband keeps me laughing and smiling, most of all he makes me feel like I have a "3" in front of it. The stage that we are now entering is really good, we’re empty nesters footloose and fancy-free and no grandkids.

August 29, of this year (2010), my queen and I will be married for twenty three years. As I look back on that day, I smile as I remember how my queen laughed as she told me that she could tell how nervous I was by the way I repeated my vows. She said as I spoke my vows my tone became louder and louder, this is how she came to the conclusion that I was nervous. I personally don’t believe that I was nervous at all. I was and remain the same today, confident and sure regarding the decision that I was making. I can honestly say that this statement is one of fact because I feel stronger and more assured today regarding my decision to marry…even more than I did on my wedding day.
