When I saw the news that Bill Withers passed, it was almost like losing an uncle. Sad that he is gone but his voice will always set the mood for my day ex. Lovely Day. One of the purest singer, storytellers ever. He had/has a delivery that’s always been effortless, smooth, poignant & powerful.  American singer-songwriter and musician who performed and recorded from 1970 until 1985. In 2015, he will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. 2007: Inducted into West Virginia Music Hall of Fame 2006: ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Heritage award 2005: Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee  While Marvin Gaye has often gotten credit for being so willing to sing about failed relationships. ..
